Versatility of Vacuum Lifting

The versatility of vacuum lifting

Versatility is about adaptation. It’s about the ability of something to evolve to meet the needs of the task at hand, and it is a key factor in Vlentec engineering that we consider in every vacuum lifting product we develop.

Versatility for elevated vacuum lifting

The world of industrial lifting with pipes, slabs and plates is a robust business. It often requires a wide variety of machines, carriers and team members to carry the operations out effectively. However, there is a method that allows you to lift the material you need with the vehicles and machines you already have access to. Thanks to self-contained vacuum lifting technology, our vacuum lifters are able to adapt to the resources and constraints of many projects across a broad spectrum of lifting operations.

Superior autonomy

In the vacuum lifting industry, there is one ground-breaking development that has surpassed the rest when it comes to optimizing operational efficiency and versatility in material lifting.

Prior to this innovation, traditional hydraulically powered vacuum lifters relied on their carrier for propulsion, which meant that the only available option was access to an excavator. The introduction of the autonomous lifter revolutionized this dependence on carrier power and instead ensured that each vacuum lifter was able to generate its own power. This made the self-contained vacuum lifter compatible not only with the traditionally used excavator, but also with a wide range of other carriers such as cranes, forklifts, loaders, etc.

Vacuum lifting versatility

Versatile as standard

With a wide selection of suction pads on stock, including a range of ready-to-use lifters, our vacuum lifters are capable of lifting all diameter pipes your business requires and with quick delivery times. Vlentec suction pads are expertly pressed from one large, high-quality sheet of European steel. Thanks to its advanced and unique engineering design and manufacturing, the suction pad is lightweight though incredibly strong and therefore capable of carrying extremely heavy loads of all shapes and sizes.

Customizing with attachments

While our standard range of vacuum pipe lifters is highly competent, we also recognized the need for diversity in our product. Whether that is for lifting other, potentially more challenging materials, such as flexible tubes, slabs or plates. Or to enable our vacuum lifters to lift multiple pipes simultaneously to increase operational efficiency. This allows our users not only to lift one pipe safely and efficiently, it also provides the possibility to successfully lift multiple pipes during each operation. A capability that is particularly effective for loading and unloading transport vehicles and improving efficiency in stockpiling.

Vacuum lifting

Lifting miscellaneous materials

Besides lifting pipes, slabs and plates with use of vacuum technology, each vacuum lifter is also equipped with a number of additional lifting hooks attached to the suction pads of the lifter and under the lifter itself. These hooks can be used to lift miscellaneous materials, such as wooden pallets, machinery and stockpile dunnage without having to intervene in between jobs. The use of vacuum lifters provides a high degree of versatility and therefore maximum efficiency on pipeline projects.
